Water damage
The finishes that soaked have to come out.
A leak, an overflow, or water that sat on a floor leaves drywall, flooring, and insulation that will not dry back to the way it was. We remove what is damaged and rebuild that part of the room.
Tell us if water is still standing when you call. We repair and rebuild the affected finishes. We do not do certified mould remediation, sewage cleanup, or insurance adjusting.

Restoration • Water
A room put back after the damaged finishes came out.
The damage
What we look at first.
The question is how far the water went, and which materials have to go. A stain on paint is not the same job as wet insulation behind the wall.
How far it went
We look at the floor, the base of the walls, and anything that stayed wet. The scope follows the damage, not a whole-house guess.
What comes out
Wet drywall, soaked carpet, and insulation that held water are removed. Leaving them in place is how the room smells later.
What goes back
Drywall, flooring, and trim are rebuilt to put that area back in use. The quote names the rooms and the finishes.
What this visit is not
We do not certify mould removal, handle sewage, or speak for your insurer. If that is the job, we say so.
The work
Repair and rebuild.
The useful version of this job is simple. Take out what the water ruined. Put the wall and the floor back. Leave the room usable.
Tear-out
The wet material
Damaged drywall, flooring, and insulation come out to a line we can show you. We do not strip a room that did not get wet.
Put it back
Drywall, floor, and trim
New drywall, a floor that matches the scope, and trim so the room reads as finished again.
One scope
Written before the tear-out grows
You see the rooms and the finishes on the quote. If we open a wall and the damage runs further, we stop and tell you.
Questions
Before you call.
- Do you dry the house with industrial equipment?
- We remove damaged material and rebuild the finishes. We do not sell this as specialized water extraction or a drying-equipment service.
- Can you deal with mould?
- No. We do not offer certified mould remediation. If that is what the house needs, it is a different contractor.
- Do you work with my insurance company?
- We can give you a written scope for the repair. We do not adjust the claim or speak as your insurer.
- What if it is the basement?
- A flooded basement is the same idea, in that space: wet finishes out, the room rebuilt. See flooded basement restoration
Tell us where the water went.
The room, and whether anything is still wet. We will come look, mark what has to come out, and send a scope for putting it back.
